#13433: Segmentation faults in profiled way -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: bgamari | Owner: simonmar Type: bug | Status: new Priority: highest | Milestone: 8.2.1 Component: Compiler | Version: 8.1 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: | Unknown/Multiple Type of failure: None/Unknown | Test Case: Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by simonmar): I still haven't been able to repro this. I used exactly the `build.mk` above, and I've built all of nofib with {{{ make NoFibRuns=0 EXTRA_HC_OPTS="+RTS -p -RTS" }}} without a single segfault, and I have a pile of `.prof` files. This is Linux/x86_64, my tree is master @ bf3952e. Is there anything that might be different about my environment compared to yours that might account for this? -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/13433#comment:12 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
