#9249: Link to "latest" user's guide -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: goldfire | Owner: (none) Type: bug | Status: new Priority: low | Milestone: 8.4.1 Component: Documentation | Version: 7.8.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: Type of failure: Documentation | Unknown/Multiple bug | Test Case: Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by ntc2): This feature would be more useful if a link to the corresponding page in the latest documentation was included when possible, not just a link to the top level of the latest manual. I've gotten used to adding `inurl:latest` to my GHC related Google queries in order to get up-to-date result. As a simpler improvement, the header with the links could just suggest the user repeat their search with `inurl:latest` included. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/9249#comment:6 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
