 I discovered that when adding the signature
 {{{
 instance Num Word64 where
     (...)
     signum :: Word64 -> Word64
     (...)
 }}}

 and of course adding
 {{{
 {-# LANGUAGE InstanceSigs #-}
 }}}
 To Word.hs, it builds.
