#13923: Add a suppression flag to stop Typeable bindings being emitted with -ddump- simpl -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: mpickering | Owner: (none) Type: task | Status: new Priority: low | Milestone: Component: Compiler | Version: 8.0.1 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: | Unknown/Multiple Type of failure: None/Unknown | Test Case: Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by bgamari): You could probably filter them out by name pretty easily. Just add a special case to the `HsBind` and `Bind` `Outputable` instances with an associated `DynFlag`. I'm not sure whether you really want to stop emitting them entirely; afterall, then some programs would fail to compile. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/13923#comment:1 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
