 This used to work around 1.4.0, one of my test suites caught it:

   print $ (parseTime defaultTimeLocale "%M " "15 " :: Maybe UTCTime)

   print $ (parseTime defaultTimeLocale " %M" " 15" :: Maybe UTCTime)
