Gabor, I am on OSX. Can you tell me where your code lives and what your build settings are? I will try to reproduce.
I am in the context of branch `wip/T14626` in the central repository. There I build with basically unchanged `mk/build.mk` (i.e. `-O2`). I am pretty sure this patch from Simon '''alone''' works on all platforms.
