This restriction can be lifted pretty easily, however. This requires a slight tweak to `isBuiltInOcc_maybe` in `TysWiredIn` to allow it to recognize `Unit#` (which is the hard-wired `OccName` for unboxed 1-tuples). Fixes #12977.
