#11075: Confusing parallel spark behaviour with safe FFI calls -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: duncan | Owner: Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Runtime System | Version: 7.10.2 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: | Unknown/Multiple Type of failure: None/Unknown | Test Case: Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by duncan): Thanks Simon! To answer your Q, linear algebra :-) To be clear: this isn't critical for my application, but I can see how people following a pure parallelism strategy would hit this and it'd be jolly confusing. I've now got a different solution using explicit IO threads. Less elegant but works well. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/11075#comment:5 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
