 Consider this module:

 {-# LANGUAGE MagicHash #-}
 import GHC.Exts
 main = do let x = error "bar" :: Int#
               y = error "foo" :: Int#
           print (I# x + I# y)
 }}}

 When you run this, you will get the error "foo" and not the error "bar".
 This is backwards!
