I'm okay with pushing the 8.0.2 release off by up to two weeks for this, but at that point I will really need to release it regardless of whether this issue is fixed. I am working with Oleg to get our OS X test box running Sierra, but I can't make any promises about being able to fix this myself. It would be quite helpful if someone could summarize the proposed solution. Even better, it would be amazing if someone with an affected machine and knowledge of dynamic linking on OS X (a small set, I know!) could take ownership of this issue and carry it to solution.
