#8835: 7.6.3 vs 7.8-RC performance regression --------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: cbm80 | Owner: Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Compiler | Version: 7.8.1-rc2 Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Linux | Architecture: x86_64 Type of failure: Runtime performance bug | (amd64) Test Case: | Difficulty: Unknown Blocking: | Blocked By: | Related Tickets: #8814 --------------------------------------------+------------------------------ Comment (by cbm80): In my code I'm using xml-conduit for parsing, which has a dependency on attoparsec. Also the workaround bos made fixed not only the GC behavior, but also memory consumption is again what is was in 7.6.3. So yes, I think it is indeed the same bug. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/8835#comment:8 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
