The implementation has a special case for methods whose name starts with an underscore. The user guide doesn't mention this. Could it please do so?
Btw, I noticed the documentation added contains the following paragraph: {{{#!xml <para>If no MINIMAL pragma is used, then all methods without a default will be requried, excluding methods with a name that starts with an underscore.</para> }}} -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/7633#comment:41 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
