My build (started with plain `make`) then died with {{{ HC [stage 0] ghc/stage1/build/tmp/ghc-stage1 Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64: "_ghczm7zi9_CallArity_callArityAnalProgram_closure", referenced from: _r9qt_srt in libHSghc-7.9.a(SimplCore.o) _r9qv_srt in libHSghc-7.9.a(SimplCore.o) "_ghczm7zi9_CallArity_callArityAnalProgram_info", referenced from: _saVG_info in libHSghc-7.9.a(SimplCore.o) ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 }}} I was able to fix the problem with a `make maintainer-clean`, but the make system should be able to deal with this I think. In general, I've found that I need to resort to `make maintainer-clean` more often, but that's purely anecdotal and possibly not helpful.
