Re: [GHC] #487: powerpc/linux segfaulting binaries

#487: powerpc/linux segfaulting binaries ----------------------------------+------------------------------- Reporter: dons | Owner: Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: ⊥ Component: Compiler | Version: 6.4.1 Resolution: None | Keywords: Operating System: Linux | Architecture: powerpc Type of failure: Runtime crash | Test Case: N/A Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | ----------------------------------+------------------------------- Changes (by erikd): * cc: erikd (added) Comment: Using ghc 7.10.2 (patched with two recent fixes from git HEAD) on powerpc/linux, I just set up a cabal sandbox and after installing required C libraries was able to do `cabal install yi` and then actually run it. I didn't do any serious editing with it, but it ran without a problem. I'm going to test this again with either the 7.10.3 release (if it happens) or the 8.0 release and then close it if all is still good. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/487#comment:7 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
