#4900: Consider usage files in the GHCi recompilation check -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Reporter: cdsmith | Owner: (none) Type: feature request | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: Component: Compiler | Version: Resolution: | Keywords: Operating System: Unknown/Multiple | Architecture: | Unknown/Multiple Type of failure: None/Unknown | Test Case: TH_Depends Blocked By: | Blocking: Related Tickets: | Differential Rev(s): Wiki Page: | -------------------------------------+------------------------------------- Comment (by nh2): Patrick, is this something you still want to do? It would be awesome to get `addDependentFile` support in ghci, as Haskell projects are only getting larger and being able to iterate quickly with ghci makes it bearable. I personally would be very happy even with an intial mainlined version of this that explicitly doesn't support boot modules, as they are quite rare outside of GHC itself. -- Ticket URL: http://ghc.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/4900#comment:81 GHC http://www.haskell.org/ghc/ The Glasgow Haskell Compiler
