We are pleased to announce a new major release of the Glasgow Haskell Compiler (GHC), version 5.04.

Available is a basic OpenBSD x86 "package": ftp://ftp.cse.unsw.edu.au/pub/users/dons/ghc/ghc-5.04.tgz This was built on an 3.1 machine. Earlier OpenBSD versions will probably be able to handle it, with library simlinks. Note that ghci isn't available yet.
