You're right, it doesn't link against libffi, I only assumed this, because utils/ghc-pwd/ghc-pwd was (really unnecessarily?) linked asked libffi, so that I wasn't able to install the whole. Sorry for the confusion. The question remains, why is utils/ghc-pwd/ghc-pwd linked against libffi in the official binary-dist? Christian
