Yes, that's unlikely to work.
I was able to install the binaries from ghc-5.04.2-1.i386.rpm (with rpm2cpio though). I did not know that ghc-5.02.3 is exceptional. Is it really? Christian 6.4 produces better and faster code than 6.2.2 and 5.04.2 for our application.
