If you want to put it on a different machine then you'll have to do it as part of a GHC bindist (make binary-dist). If that's not working then can you please give more details, showing what's going wrong?
I did do a binary-dist, and that wasn't working when moved to a different machine. Unfortunately I've tweaked and hacked at too much now to know whether haddock is working or not, and if I've broken it or not. Will try and remember to take a look when I make a fresh build.
