I guess this is related to http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/3831 .
For now, I think you want to use -O rather than -O2 for building the libraries (GhcLibHcOpts in mk/build.mk) until we can figure out what's going on in #3831. Cheers, Simon
