A quick fix:
sudo sh fix_install_names.sh /usr/local/lib/ghc-6.4 
/usr/local/lib/ghc-6.4/ghc-6.4
After doing that, it works great for me.  ("Works great" = "the two 
test programs I chucked at it compiles and works with --make -dynamic).
