Hello, A long shot, but perhaps worth looking into: The reaction that you report here seems similar to the one reported in trac #1195 Build error on MacOSX (Intel) 10.4.8 for HEAD from 2007-03-05 when compiling with ghc-6.6: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/1195 That ticket reports two cases where some error was apparently ignored, leading to a sequence of error reports like the one you quote. But the first error, which is probably the interesting one, is buried somewhere earlier in the output and needs to be found "manually", somehow.
