Valery: You unfortunately cannot just use -parallel with the normal GHC compiler. You need to download one which is actually meant to be used in parallel (namely GPH). You can find information about it here: http://www.cee.hw.ac.uk/~dsg/gph/

aha, the flavor is clear, but this link leads to the same ghc! does anyone see here the true gph alive and in free form? :)
