Ops, the paste is wrong, but the bug is real. I mean, if I try to run the program with the right input, the program aborts in the same place, with the same error message:

Hmm... yes, a 'case fell off' error is always a bug in jhc one way or another. I will have to investigate your program and find out why that is happening. compiling with -fdebug can help find such errors, but clearly there is something wrong.
