My current project is to rewrite the indenter in haskell, using haskell-src-exts and such. Aligning imports will probably be trivial once that is done, but the work of integrating it now would probably also be wasted.
That sounds like a good idea. I considered using haskell-src-exts myself but didn't bother at the time.
I might do it anyway, if it's sufficiently little work. Let's see.
It should just be case of choosing what keybinding to use.
