[Haskell-cafe] Working around file locking in Windows

Hello all, I'm trying to make the hp2any suite to be fully functional under Windows, but I'm running into permission errors when I try to read the heap profile that's still being written by its producer. Is there a way to solve this problem without turning to the Win32 interface and having to write platform specific code?
