Trying cabal upgrade didn't fix it - it still throws the same error.
This is because the sourceview package is not on hackage - it's legacy, non-cabal code and can be found on http://www.haskell.org/gtk2hs/
You'll have to install it manually, I'm afraid.
It's not just yi-gtk, though - yi itself isn't installing via cabal, due to the alex version >=2.0.1 && <3 dependency. martin
