No,... no comparison. His work on contracts and the usage of FP for this funny branch of math which serves to generate (and to destroy...) *real* money, is based on a very serious formal research.
Hmm, do you mean the 'real' money that gets destroyed (for instance) every time a loan is payed back? (like in: bank assets minus outstanding loan; bank liabilities minus amount payed back from checking account (= M1 money).) These are the wonders of double entry bookkeeping...
