It seems irony gets lost so easily in these conversations. You have no
way of knowing what the state of haskell would have been had certain key contributors to GHC and Haskell not taken jobs at Microsoft. Therefore you statement is meaningless and only good for producing approving nods among people who already agree with what you say.
What's meaningless are GPL jihadists who are bitter that not everybody is joining their religion. Yeah...that's personal.
