An odd suggestion I know, but take a look at some bibles. The King James Bible uses the word "kind" to describe different animals in Genesis 1: ^24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. http://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-1-24/ At least some other English translations use the same word (I'm not a bible scholar, so I can't give you a detailed list). Most time, it is not really difficult to find an appropriate term for concepts of Haskell, like types (Typen) or type classes (Typklassen). But I really don't know how to call kinds and sorts in German. Any ideas?
