
FWIW, downloading the haskell-platform-2010.1.0.0 tarball and building it on my 10.5.8 system (with ghc 6.12.1 installed from the dmg) worked just fine. Didn't take too long either. Something like that, on both gcc and ld; I think you also need a "-isysroot /blah.sdk" GCC option (unless that's only for Cocoa- specific stuff, I'm not sure).
I've been dreading it but I think I'm going to have to dig out my Leopard CD and run it in a VM.
