[Haskell-cafe] Haskell equivalent toPerl stat function

Hi I'm new to Haskell, so correct me if this is the wrong list or the wrong question. I'm looking for a function similar to the Perl stat to provide me with the last modify time of a file. I've been poring over source code entries referencing hfileSize but can't find the specific bit which reads the directory entry, so I could copy the code.
