[Haskell-cafe] STM reference?

Hi, Can anyone suggest some references to learn how to program using GHC with threads? I've read a little bit about STM, but it's still pretty mysterious to me. Is this the best approach to take? I've never used threads in any language, but monads are fairly comfortable for me. Thanks!
