What about CInvStructure[1]? I was just glancing at the documentation when I saw this.
That's a part of cinvoke I have not implemented (and probably won't, just like callbacks and a few other things, at least until there is some demand for them). However, the CInvStructure functions are used to construct descriptions and instances of C structures at run-time. (think alignment issues...)
