I quite like the sloth too, that would be a great mascot if you ask me. Distinctive, conveys the idea of laziness, warm & fuzzy, etc. I hope somebody can come up with a design with it. Conrad's robot idea is also appealing to me, which is funny because we're so picky about side-effects. (There's a logo with a missile in the page too.) Remember that robot mascot that Firefox had a while ago? Another idea: something in the form of an Ouroboros.
