Don't Do That. Use someone else's plugin-based library if you can help it. Do you really want to write your own Haskell implementations of mp3, aac, aac+, etc.?
Well, it would certainly be an interesting project! However, I doubt we could find anybody with the necessary knowledge to attempt it...
