[Haskell-cafe] State of redis-resp and redis-io?

I've looked around for Haskell packages for Redis and found the API of redis-io nice. I did notice that neither it, not redis-resp which it depends on, have gotten much love the last few years. Does anyone here know what the state of these packages are?
