I am currently working in Utrecht, assisting in teaching FP at the
university. We have a big research group on FP here, indeed, so I guess
somebody could speak in such an event. I don't know if that helps in some
way...

I'm planning on organizing a Meetup group about Functional Programming in Eindhoven, for next year. Currently there is very few people doing that in this area (according to the few jobs available here), and I would like to promote it. Next to that I would like to advertise Haskell, but I wanted to start with a more broader scope. My current employer is willing to sponsor this, and hence I was looking which speakers could be possible to bring for the big opening event.
My first question is which speakers you know in the FP world that can clearly convey the ideas on "why functional programming matter for your company". The idea is to try to spark the interest of the different stakeholders in this city (and region).
Second, I've seen some material here and there on FP propaganda, but I would like to know which ones are you favorites.
