community.haskell.org is down

The community server, on which resides the domains: community.haskell.org projects.haskell.org code.haskell.org trac.haskell.org planet.haskell.org is down, due to a hacker attack. Rather than trying to repair the old machine it was on, this is the time to migrate this server (finally) to the new machine that has been allocated for it. We are now putting together a strike team to get this done. Hopefully, the server will be up again in a few days. We'll try to keep the community updated about progress.

What is the nature of the damage: was the machine corrupted or compromised? Aka, do I need new ssh keys etc? -- Live well, ~wren

I think it was the latter.

If all you had on the machine was public keys, then no. If you had private keys as well, then yes, definitely. Erik -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Erik de Castro Lopo http://www.mega-nerd.com/
