arcanux.org used to be run by someone whose IRC nick was shillelagh (I believe lambdabot still has a quote by him). He suddenly disappeared one day, and then lambdacatz stopped working about 6 months after that. /me wonders if the same mysterious creature was also responsible for mmorrow disappearing... -- Ivan Lazar Miljenovic Ivan.Miljenovic@gmail.com IvanMiljenovic.wordpress.com

Plenty of stuff shows up on google: http://images.google.com/images?q=lambdacats

I wonder if the original site is recoverable from this, but I suspect there
are some missing.

Somebody else noticed, eh? Good thing I grabbed most of the actually amusing images before it vanished. Still, that site was hardly ever updated anyway. And it's not like you need a special website just to stick broken English on pictures of cats...

Search by an actual image can be done at http://www.tineye.com/. This is useful if one wants to find an original, or see its original context.

I happened to download them all (i think all) a while ago to torment my
coworkers:

Enjoy.

Heh. unsafePerformDoggeh# still amuses me... Sadly, I lack the 31337 skills required to think of original ideas myself. Just laugh at what other people have thought up.

G'day all.

I still have the original at full resolution of all the ones I did (including unsafeDoggeh#), plus a couple that didn't make it to the web site because they were deemed too obscure. I think I was trying for a creative misspelling or something.) Andrew Bromage

Simon cat and Oleg cat are also missing, unfortunately.
Also the 'catamorphism' picture with the banana peel (there may be others I can't recall, too).
