Maybe this is the right place for conference announcements then, if it's just for announcements in general.

haskell@haskell.org is intended for announcements of all kind, both conferences and Haskell software. I do not see a point in moving conference announcements to haskell-cafe and leave haskell@haskell.org for Haskell-unrelated conference spam. Btw. I moved the discussion to Haskell Cafe, because haskell@haskell.org is really for announcements not for discussion.
