You can find a version of Functional Metapost, which works with current (2001 February) Hugs, on the following page:

This version is able to produce all the illustrations in the enclosed Tutorial on my machine.

Dear Ralf, thanks for your help. I used your modifications, and made a couple of others to make GHC accept the code. So: ANNOUNCEMENT: The Functional Metapost Revival Page (http://afavant.elte.hu/~wferi/funcmp) has been updated. In short: version 1.1 compiles with GHC. Let's make use of the .cache files!
