Hi Man, "Difficult" is a relative term -- with study and practice, what one once considered difficult can become easy. With that said, it is true that beginners to Haskell might find it difficult to define an average function correctly since Haskell is (for good reason) picky about numeric types. If you post some specific code you are having trouble with I'm sure someone would be happy to help you.
