Greetings, I've been trying to use OpenGL, but I had some problems. The situation is the following one: I installed OpenGl; I installed hugs (nov2003-2) and the GHC (6.3) in a fedora linux for the http://www.haskell.org/fedora site; I installed Greencard also met in http://www.haskell.org/fedora; I've been trying to running Planet.hs http://www.haskell.org/HOpenGL/examples/Planet.hs, but the libraries GL and GLUI not found. Any suggestions? Ideas? Thoughts? thanks, Sandra __________________________________________________ Converse com seus amigos em tempo real com o Yahoo! Greetings,
I've been trying to use OpenGL, but I had some problems. The situation is the following one:
I installed OpenGl;
I installed hugs (nov2003-2) and the GHC (6.3) in a fedora linux for the http://www.haskell.org/fedora site;
GHC 6.3 is an old development version of GHC. Install 6.4 if you haven't already.
I installed Greencard also met in http://www.haskell.org/fedora;
You don't need GreenCard. HOpenGL is installed by default.
I've been trying to running Planet.hs http://www.haskell.org/HOpenGL/examples/Planet.hs, but the libraries GL and GLUI not found.
Everything on http://www.haskell.org/HOpenGL/ is really outdated. There's an updated version of Planets.hs in the GHC 6.4 distribution.
Any suggestions? Ideas? Thoughts?
thanks,
Sandra
