Hi, I just got the bug report at the bottom of this email message Basically, Text.Regex.Posix.dll is not build by the makefile, here is the appropriate bit of the makefile log, which doesn't have that file being built. Hi, if you desugar the definition that's causing the type error, perhaps it becomes a little bit clearer what's going on, i.e., from problematic :: MyAnnotatedType Int problematic = defaultVal{theInt=42,theAnnotation=10} you expand this to problematic' = case defaultVal of { MAT a b c -> MAT 42 b 10 } Clearly, the type of 'c' is ambiguous here. The build is reasonably well automated, but it needs a little bit more work before its one click and go. Hi, This issue has now been fixed in the CVS and a brand new build works fine and gets all the Windows bits that are required. Does this warrant a new release? Just shoving up some new binaries over the old? Or should we wait a bit longer, especially if Win32 is going to get some more changes soon? Dear all, It seems that the Windows installer WinHugs-May2006.exe leaves out Types.dll.
