It differs from the 2001/10/12 version in that the :e command now works as it used to do in the Mac versions building on the kernels before the hugs98-Feb2001 kernel. (I merely removed the extra quotes that this kernel inserts in machdep.c, startEdit(); see the Mac sources.)
