i am linux starter and currently doing my MSc project, which uses Haskell, i tried to install hugs with the pacakge downloaded from your website, but encountered with the problem as follow:

The simplest fix is to go to haskell.org/hugs, download the source package, untar, and follow the instructions in the first 10-20 lines of the hugs98/ Install. This will take less than 5 minutes. -- Alastair Reid www.haskell-consulting.com
