Hello, I'd like to get started using Haskell on the iPhone. While I see the support for version 6, there seem to have been a number of patches accepted for ARM and cross compiling support. Is it possible to use GHC 7.4.1? Or should I use the older version and wait for a later update? Thanks for any help, -Greg
Greg, Use the old version for now. I've been really busy and had a bit of trouble finding time over the last few weeks, but the new version is nearly ready. Steve On 11/03/12 19:38, Greg Samsa wrote:

Hi Stephen,
Thanks a lot for the clarification. I think the old version should be fine in the short term. Looking forward to the update when you have time again!

All, Here are some rough patches that create a GHC-iPhone cross-compiler when applied to an old GHC HEAD of 30 Jan 2012. http://hip-to-be-square.com/~blackh/ghc-iphone-new/ The "executable" this cross compiler outputs is really a static library which you need to link with your iPhone Xcode project. I haven't tried this yet, as I am remote from my Mac at present. So it's basically done, but will need a bit of testing and refinement.
