I already implemented all of that over 10 years ago. All I need is NoImplicitPrelude and I can fly under the radar, with the outcome of not-really-debates having nil practical effect. That's a reasonable approach. If you would have forked the compiler in order to implement the FTP and all the Foldable tuple instances only in the fork then we would not need the warnings, at all.
