This is not quite right: Numeric.showFloat would be OK (modulo "arithmetic overflow" :-), but Hugs currently uses C's snprintf, resulting in "inf"/"nan", not "Infinity"/"NaN" on my SuSE 9.1 box. Cheers, S.
